Kyo Ichinose Website

Kyo composed a new work commissioned by “CANTUS”, a fantastic female chorus group. “Love Celestial”, its text is from Emily Dickinson’s poem, will be performed on 26th July at Asashi Art Square in Tokyo. This work is accompanied by “SHO” a Japanese instrument. Details are blow (only in Japanese).

独自の活動を続ける女声コーラスグループ”カントゥス”の委嘱により、新作”Love Celestial”を作曲しました。エミリ・ディッキンソンの詩をテキストに用いたこの曲の初演は７月２６日、アサヒアートスクエアにて行われます。コーラスと笙のための作品となっており、笙パートは石川高が演奏します。詳細は下記より。

Kyo played the piano on “Bijinzushi night” held on 7/1, with an amazing norwegian band “SKAIDI”, as one of Japanese guest musicians.
